Senior project weekly reflection

So our first week is done with our senior project, so far so good I would say it has been a lot of fun and lot of work. Even know it doesn’t feel like a hard work because I like our project and I like where we are heading. I feel like we are going to have a great video at the end of the senior project. During our first week we did little bit of everything, we filmed a lot, we met with our mentor, we edited some our footage and we put the clips in the order. Most of all our first week was filming obviously because we can’t really edit before we have the footage we want and need. We filmed around the campus, all the academic buildings, athletic facilities and also the highlight of first week, we filmed the trail track and the river too. We just felt like the river should be in the video because especially during the spring term students likes to go out there and spend some quality time with friends and kind of get ready for summer already. So we decided to include the river into our video too. We also filmed some of the spring sports, mostly boys lacrosse this week (probably because jack is in the team) we got some great footage from their game and practices. We also were able to film girls varsity lacrosse too which was nice because we were planning to do that next week but already got that started too. Like I said before we also got into some editing this week, not a lot but little bit we still need some more time of learning how to use the editing tool, I took the class for that last year but I need some time to catch up how to use it again. We are in a good position after our first week and i am excited to move forward in our project. Overall the first week was good and we learned lot of new things about filming. Huge shutout to Jim Cox who hooked us up with a high quality camera so if the video is not good we can’t blame our  equipments. Also our mentor gave us lot of good tips at the beginning of the week to keep in mind while filming. Next week is going to be busy for when we are starting to do our interviews and stuff.
